Biblically qualified to be President

Apparently the Biblically qualified thing is old.  I found a story from 12/13.

Calling Bachmann "biblically qualified" to be president at a Statehouse news conference Tuesday, former state Rep. Danny Carroll of Grinnell, Iowa, said the group is calling on Christians in Iowa to back Bachmann's candidacy.

"She is capable. She is trustworthy. She fears God, and she hates dishonest gain," said Carroll, who was surrounded by a dozen members of the endorsing group he described as "Iowa faith leaders and pastors."...

...The Rev. Bill Tvedt of Oskaloosa said the criteria for a biblically qualified leader can be found in the book of Exodus.

"The Bible says we are to choose those who are men of truth, who hate covetousness and fear God," he said. "I believe that (Bachmann) is guided by principles, not political calculations. I believe that the leader of our nation has to be a person who will always tell the truth and do the right thing."

Carroll said Bachmann isn't necessarily the only biblically qualified candidate in the field but she "best meets" the qualifications.[1]

The White House and Merry Christmas

WEEKLY ADDRESS: The President and First Lady Thank our Troops for their Service as we Celebrate the Holiday Season (You will notice that this came from the  "Office of the Press Secretary", "Briefing Room", and "Statement and Releases".)

This was not enough for right wing blogger Jim Hoft who released a blog, Obama Skips Christmas Statement But Issues Statement for Fake Holiday Kwanzaa.  This was then tweeted by Donald Trump.

However if you will notice, the Weekly Address is an official statement. He even tweeted it.

Jim Hoft responded with It Figures. Leftie Blogs Say Trump Is a Dog-Whispering Racist For Tweeting About Obama’s Christmas Gaffe. He states, 

"Evidently, TPM can’t tell the difference between a video and a statement. And, of course, if you point out this latest Obama error you’re a dog-whispering racist."

Again the Weekly Address is a statement.  There is this summary that is not even contained in the video.

WASHINGTON— In this week’s address, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama came together to wish the American people a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and thanked our troops, military families, and veterans for their service and sacrifice. President Obama and Michelle Obama encouraged everyone to visit JoiningForces.gov to find ways to give back to our brave men and women in uniform and their families during the holiday season as we work together in the spirit of service.

What can you expect from a guy who is still claiming that "Obama Tripled Deficit"? I am not going to say that this is dog whistle racism.  I think this is just knee jerk reaction to perceived liberal attacks.  I leave you with the Kwanzaa statement and the President celebrating Christmas with Kermit at the Christmas Tree lighting.

Statement by the President and First Lady on Kwanzaa

Oscar Ramiro ­Ortega-Hernandez

Oscar Ramiro ­Ortega-Hernandez fired his AK-47-style assault rifle at the White House 9:30pm, last Friday.[1] He thought that Obama was the antichrist and he need to kill him.  The shooter was convinced the federal government was conspiring against him. “President Obama was the problem with the government.” [2]   Today, Thursday, November 17th, Occupy San Diego had a moment of silence for the White House.[3]

Just a note, if Ortega-Hernandez wanted to kill a large amount of people, he certainly had the weapon and the targets to do so.  God be praised that this mentally deranged man only wanted to shoot the White House.
